Rep Fitness’ Upgraded 2.0 J Cups are absolutely the next level iteration they claim. Black powder coating is sleek to the eyes and smooth to the touch, hiding the welds very well. The screws are recessed, making it easier to customize the logo plate without damaging it. Almost a full inch was added to the “landing zone” height of these J-Cups, making it easier to re-rack your weight. Also, less risk of damaging your barbell or power rack.
Flat or Rounded: If you’re big into Benching and squatting then rounded. This will get an easier barbell alignment prior to lift off. If you like your auxillary bars or want a little play with where your bar is (front to back), then you want Flat sandwhich J-Cups.
